Billy Saves the World is a narrative-driven platformer where you can choose between action or adventure gameplay. After failing his relationship, Billy is dumped on his two-year anniversary and ends up sucked into a mysterious portal, landing him on a distant planet. Here, he’ll not only try to become the dependable person he should’ve always been but also uncover an ancient alien prophecy and save the world in a hilarious, sci-fi love story. Inspired by Monkey Island and Futurama so this game is packed with humor and adventure.
You get to play the game your way by choosing between two distinct gameplay styles: action-platforming or puzzle solving. Whether you’re running, sliding, wall-jumping, or using Jedi-like superpowers in a 2D Metroidvania world, or if you prefer using your head to solve creative puzzles, Billy Saves the World lets you enjoy a unique experience. With over 30 optional levels to explore and more than 25 side-quests, each with branching dialogues and different outcomes, no two playthroughs will be the same.
The game’s hand-drawn biomes, animated by top professionals, create a visually stunning world. Moreover with more than 7 diverse biomes to explore, you’ll uncover secret collectibles, face deadly traps and take on time trials.
