Albatroz is a backpacking RPG which takes you on an epic journey across surreal landscapes to find your missing sibling. You play as Isla, who’s stuck in a dull routine until her brother vanishes while searching for Albatroz Mountain, a legendary “walking mountain.” Determined to find him, Isla ventures into “The Forbidden Lands,” an intense, otherworldly realm where two worlds collide. 

As you hike or drive through breathtaking environments—from scorching beaches to icy peaks—you’ll explore hidden secrets, encounter strange phenomena, and soak in the game’s magical soundtrack that amps up every moment. Along the way you will visit villages, meet locals, learn about their cultures and plan your next steps. NPCs give you clues, items, and gear to survive the harsh landscapes that get tougher the deeper you go.

Resource management is key: you’ll need to keep supplies stocked, use items wisely, and manage what you carry so you don’t burn out. Each character has a Skill Tree where you can upgrade abilities from Tier 1 to Tier 3 by collecting Travel Points through exploration and helping NPCs. Whereas these points let you unlock new skills and even level up your car that making this intense journey a little easier as you get closer to unraveling the mystery of Albatroz Mountain.
