In Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, it’s 1715, and the Caribbean is the ultimate pirate playground. The seas are controlled by a lawless Republic where corruption, greed, and brutality rule. You play as Edward Kenway, a reckless but daring young captain on a quest for glory. Whereas his wild chase for fame has earned him respect from legends like Blackbeard. But things get messy when the Assassins and Templars clash, and the battle could destroy everything pirates have fought for.
You’ll take command of the Jackdaw, your own badass ship, and start wreaking havoc on anyone who dares to cross you. As you plunder and pillage, you’ll upgrade the Jackdaw with wicked weapons and gear to help take down massive enemy ships. Whereas these upgrades are key if you want to take on even bigger targets, recruit sailors and build your own legendary pirate story. You’ll team up with pirate icons like Blackbeard, Calico Jack, and Benjamin Hornigold as you help create a rogue Republic in the Bahamas.
But it’s not just about sea battles. You will test Edward’s assassin skills on solo missions and jump into intense online multiplayer action. You will also meet a bunch of new pirate characters and explore vibrant, exotic locations. Plus with the Game Lab feature, you can create your own multiplayer modes by tweaking abilities, rules and bonuses and share your creations with friends for endless replayability.
