Moreover Yumetaro has a unique ability—he can summon and throw a star that’s not just for attacking. This star keeps his momentum and bounces off surfaces making it super versatile. So you can ride the star to reach tricky spots, activate switches, defend against enemies, or discover hidden areas. However mastering its bouncy physics unlocks all sorts of possibilities, like finding treasure or even breaking speedrun records. The soundtrack? Absolute fire. David Wise, the legendary composer, is behind it, mixing fresh new tracks with remixes of classic tunes. While the music directed by Pelle Cahndlerby and recorded live in Sweden with Joel Bille, giving it that extra layer of depth. The original Gimmick! came out on the Famicom™ in 1992 but only hit the West in Scandinavia, which made it a cult classic. But now, with Gimmick! 2, the whole world gets to experience this gem.
