Hexocity is this chill puzzle game set in a futuristic world. Dorfromantik inspire it and we made it to build our team within a 6-month development limit. In the game, you build your own archipelago while jamming out to relaxing synthwave music. Exorcist: Reviewer of Minds
The gameplay is all about placing hexagonal tiles and scoring points by connecting the same elements. So you start with a limited number of tiles and the game ends when you run out. But don’t worry there are features that let you win more tiles and keep the game going. The goal is to rack up the highest score before you run out of tiles.
You can win powers, bonus points, and extra tiles by making perfect placements. However there are also quests that give you bonuses. For example, you can connect two roads or two canals by placing the end points and then filling in the path with tiles. The shortest path or all the tiles along the canal will give you bonuses.
If you just want to create without any limits, there’s a creative mode where you can build your islands however you want. Plus, there’s over an hour of original soundtrack by Way16a’s composer, Raphael Ledent, to keep you in the zone. Just let yourself relax and go with the flow of Hexocity.
