In Kakenuke★Forward to Our Sparking Youth!, you step into the shoes of Yuu Tono, a second-year student at Kazami Academy who’s right in that prime “coming-of-age” phase of life. But here’s the thing: Yuu couldn’t care less about all that “youthful” nonsense. While others are busy living it up, Yuu’s all about grinding at his part-time job, focused on stacking cash and getting by. 

Enter Hibiki, Yuu’s childhood friend who’s had enough of his workaholic ways and Riri, a classmate who sees him as some kind of mentor. Both are determined to drag Yuu into experiencing what they think his youth should be about. Hibiki pushes him to join “AcTive”—a club of lively girls obsessed with enjoying school life to the fullest. This is all about the NegaTive club which is a group of serious minded girls who believe youth should be spent making the world a better place.

Both clubs have their sights set on Yuu, and day after day, they won’t leave him alone. Despite his best efforts to dodge them, these girls are relentless, convinced that Yuu is missing out on what really matters.
