In Nightfall Comes, the world’s basically gone, wiped out, with monsters now taking over the ruins of old civilizations. A few survivors, each from different backgrounds, races, and with their own agendas, end up gathering at a castle. They’re all different, but they’ve gotta team up to reach their individual goals.
You’ve got four unique characters, each with their own playstyle. Some are more strategic, parrying or dodging attacks, while others just charge in, not caring about the damage they take. You can switch between characters and use their skills, which can be upgraded through Glyphs as you level up. Moreover there are scrolls and relics to help you power through tough spots. If you lose a fight, you don’t completely start over. You’ll go back to your hideout, but the progress you’ve made sticks, and you can unlock permanent upgrades, find new artifacts, or speed up your next run. The enemies and environments change every time you go back in, but the castle layout stays the same. Every time you hit a new area, you’ll have to choose your path wisely.
It’s a skill-based roguelike (or roguelite) with intense action, four main characters with their own stories, cinematic cutscenes, tons of monsters, and some seriously tough bosses waiting to test you.
