So Alan and Quintus now have two new mouse friends, each with cool elemental powers. There’s an electric mouse to power up stuff and a fire mouse to light things up. Whereas these abilities are crucial for solving the game’s puzzles and progressing through the adventure.
The stakes are higher this time, and Alan has to fight through some areas. You’ll mostly swing bats or pipes at enemies, but later on, you can get help from your mouse buddies. While the fire mouse can burn enemies, and the electric mouse can zap them, making combat more fun and manageable.
To travel between areas, you get to drive Alan’s rental van across a top-down map of Cificap County, a fictional region in Washington State. However this adds a cool new element to the game as you explore and drive to your next destination.
