Thistlemine is a puzzle exploration RPG where you play as Noa, a low-ranking excavator. Your mission is to navigate and clear out an Exclusion Zone. Siralim Ultimaten
This zone is a mess thanks to the Miasma, which is warping time and space, and mutating everything around. There’s talk of a powerful artifact in there, attracting a lot of people—none of whom have come back.
Inside, you’ll find a massive garden labyrinth, mutated remains of those who tried before you, and guardian Anomalis who now call this place home.
Noa’s outmatched and under-equipped. The odds are unfair, but she can repeat short windows of time. Only with patience, persistence, and planning can she hope to win.
However the Exclusion Zone is full of tricky and confusing puzzles. There are 7 major areas, each packed with secrets to find and combat encounters to face.
Thistlemine has 3 game modes:
1. Standard Mode, this is the normal experience. Checkpoints are plentiful, dialogue and choices are enabled, and there are minimal consequences for losing. While you can take your time and play at your own pace.
2. Regimental Mode, this is a time-attack version of the game. You have 2 hours to beat it, so you’ll need to plan your strategies and routes to save time. It’s the official Thistlemine experience, but totally optional.
3. The Temporal Rift, this is like a dev room, unlocked by default. Above all you can use it to mess around with different mechanics and optimize your routes. Positively future updates will add more challenges and cut content here.
