THRESHOLD is a haunting game set high in the mountains at the Border Post, a decaying station where an endless train barrels through. Your role is simple: keep the train on schedule by blowing a whistle. But up here, the air is thin, and every breath feels like a struggle. The rules are strict—don’t speak, don’t run, don’t look at the train. Just do your job, and it’ll be over soon. But the catch? Every whistle you blow brings you closer to death.

At the Border Post, you’ll do tasks to stay alive—deliver reports, clean the water filter, collect wood. The only thing keeping you going are the air canisters handed out for your “good” work. There’s a foul smell in the air, and Mo, your shift mate, is always there to help, except when it comes to one question. Don’t ask him about it.

However the game offers a semi linear narrative, where your choices matter, even if they sometimes do not seem to. Where you’re from, your actions and how you approach the daily grind all shape your fate. But in the end, life at the Border Post isn’t about survival—it’s about enduring, one breath at a time.
